Nullxiety Morse Code: How to Find and Decode It
Nullxiety is a Roblox puzzle game where you're a test subject working through a set of trials. One of those trials hides a code in flashing Morse, and a lot of players get stuck there. Here's how to read it yourself in about a minute.
Tip: press ▶ on any row in the chart below to hear that character.
Why you can't just copy someone's answer
The game's own description says it plainly: "Almost everything in the game is randomized!" (Roblox). The code you get won't match the one in a video or on TikTok, so the only reliable way through is to decode your own.
Where the Morse code is
According to this player guide, the code usually shows up in the storage room, where a light flashes it in Morse. The code is made of numbers, not letters.
How to decode it, step by step
- Watch a full cycle first. Wait for the flashing to pause so you know where the code starts.
- Write each flash down. A short flash is a dot (
.) and a long flash is a dash (-). - Split it into groups of five. Every number in Morse is exactly five symbols long, which makes this puzzle easier than it looks.
- Match each group to a number using the table below, or paste your dots and dashes into the translator above with a space between each group.
Morse code numbers cheat sheet
| Number | Morse | Easy way to remember |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | .---- |
1 dot, then dashes |
| 2 | ..--- |
2 dots, then dashes |
| 3 | ...-- |
3 dots, then dashes |
| 4 | ....- |
4 dots, then a dash |
| 5 | ..... |
5 dots |
| 6 | -.... |
1 dash, then dots |
| 7 | --... |
2 dashes, then dots |
| 8 | ---.. |
3 dashes, then dots |
| 9 | ----. |
4 dashes, then a dot |
| 0 | ----- |
5 dashes |
The pattern is the trick. For 1 to 5, count the dots. For 6 to 0, count the dashes and add 5 (with five dashes meaning 0). Our Morse code numbers page has more on this.
If the code doesn't work
- Check where it starts. If you started writing mid-cycle, your numbers may be in the right order but shifted. The guide notes that the numbers don't always come out in order, so try the digits in a different sequence.
- Count the symbols. If a group has four or six symbols, you missed or doubled a flash. Watch that part again.
- Short vs long. A dash lasts about three times as long as a dot. If they look alike, slow down and watch the gaps too.
- Base64 codes. The same guide says some versions show a code like
NzMxMTEinstead. That's Base64 text, not Morse, and it decodes to numbers (that example becomes73111).
Getting better at spotting flashes
If you keep missing flashes, practice with our light translator. Type a few numbers, set the speed low, and try reading them back. The practice trainer helps too. Lots of other Roblox games use Morse puzzles as well, and we cover those in Morse code in Roblox.
